We would like to share a few important updates for the coming months.
Changes on Tuesday evenings
From now on, we will be playing in the White Hall on Tuesday evenings (to the left of the entrance) instead of the Green Hall. During the winter period, the outdoor sports clubs (handball, volleyball and korfball) will once again be using the Green Hall.
The playing times will remain unchanged: Tuesday: 20:00 – 22:30
At the end of March 2027, we will be able to move back to the Green Hall on Tuesday evenings.
There are no changes to Friday evenings:Friday: Green Hall, 19:30 – 23:00
No guest players on Tuesdays
In the White Hall, we only have 7 courts available. As a result, our playing capacity is more limited, and unfortunately we are unable to accommodate guest players on Tuesday evenings.
Pilot: Pre-registration for guest players on Fridays
We have noticed that some playing evenings can become very busy. To make sure that our members continue to have sufficient opportunities to play, we are starting a pilot for pre-registration of guest players on Friday evenings.
During the pilot, a maximum of 10 guest players per Friday evening will be allowed. Guest players must register in advance via the following link:
Based on our experience with the pilot, we will evaluate whether to introduce this system on a permanent basis.
Training
Unfortunately, it has taken a little longer than expected to find a new trainer. We are now in the final stages of completing the arrangements with our new trainer.
As soon as everything is finalized, we will of course share further details with you.
3-Month Trial Membership
For those players who signed up for our 3-month trial membership, the trial period is now coming to an end.
We of course hope that you will continue playing with BV Diemen! You can extend your membership for the remainder of the season for €100.
If you decide not to extend your membership, you are still very welcome to join us as a guest player. Please keep in mind the guest-player rules mentioned above:
- On Tuesday evenings, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate guest players due to the limited number of courts.
- On Friday evenings, you are welcome to join as a guest player, but you must register in advance. A maximum of 10 guest players is allowed per Friday evening.
Kind regards
